Ethical Research - Zuari Agro Chemicals slumps 2.5% on shutting down NPK plant



Zuari Agro Chemicals on 27th August, 2019 informed about the resumption of production of one of its NPK plants effective August 27, 2019.

However, the company said that the NPK Plant has been shut down due to non-availability of raw material.

Promoted in 1967 in Goa, Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited is one of the leading fertilizer conglomerates in India.

Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd is currently trading at Rs88 down by Rs2 or 2.22% from its previous closing of Rs90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs87 and has touched a high and low of Rs88.95 and Rs86.25 respectively. So far 21,726 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter.

The current market cap of the company is Rs378.52cr.
